Sometimes I come across an image that instantly jumps out, kind of a stop in my tracks sort of thing! The artist in me kicks in and I want to have a go at it.
Well I love painting water and rocks, so an image taken by Kathryn Smith at pmp provided all the challenges I was looking for in an ocean scene. It was one of those times as was painting that I could feel the piece come alive as I moved the oil pastels (OPs) – there is nothing like it.
