Recently I came across an artists’ blog that blew me away, so much so that I wanted to take a minute to introduce her to you.
Her name is Rae, who authors a blog called, A Shy Gemini. Rae hails from Nashville, TN is a vocalist, writes her own music, plays guitar, and is a painter as well! Rae has, what I would call, an old soul that is beautifully displayed in her words and the sounds of her music. Rae has a voice that you won’t forget, she displays incredible control in her range, her vocals are crystal clear and as smooth as butter, filling the air with tremendous emotion.
She recently was asked by a good friend and videographer Mike Quinones asked if she would contribute a song to a film he produced about PTSD-related military suicide called “Wounds of War.”

Yes, she also has a song that she wrote about “Watercolors.” Rae is an artist as well and the song is great, very creative.

Mary – Rae’s rendition of Ave Maria is poetic. The Wounds of War video is beyond horrific. We owe the men and women who have sacrificed so much. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
