I love Thursdays, drawing for 30 minutes is my way of relaxing and letting go – the pencil guides m, does its thing and I’m just a willing participant.
Today I began working on the bottom left-side. The rocks for the most part are wet and only the right-side of the rocks have a bit of flowing water touching them. It’s great to just let the character (bumps, crevices and textures) of the rocks reveal itself – there is very little that one can do to hurt this process. Using 4H, 2H, HB, B, 2B and a bit of 3B.
Thank you to Craig Johnson, photographer of pmp for use of his fantastic photograph as the reference image I’m working from.
