This past weeks’ word challenge included, winding river – so I thought I would have a go at it.
We had 2 inches of ice and sleet that wasn’t bad and after living in Maine, we can handle that with no problem, but our heat has been out for three days (repair guy will be here tomorrow) – that’s a little uncomfortable.
It became a bit of a challenge manipulating oil pastels because of the cold, but I wanted to complete the challenge. End of Fall was from my imagination using Mi-Teintes pastel paper (5×7), looking forward to more normal conditions to paint this coming week.
This week I plan to paint a couple of 8×10 winter scenes – unless another unexpected disruption comes knocking on our door.
This is so beautiful! ❤️
Thanks Violet – glad you liked it!
