Hope everyone has had a great week! It will take a while, but over the next week I’ll begin catching up on everyone’s postings – looking forward to it.
We just returned from our trip and things are finally getting settled around here. We had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends, my sisters’ wedding was beautiful, and most important was the time we were able to spend with my parents. If you’ve followed my blog you’ll understand when I say, yes – changes were noticeable.
Hope to start a new painting soon, I was on such a roll before we left, and if I don’t get back to the drawing today (Thursday’s Drawing), it will definitely be worked on over the next few days.
In the meantime I have several photographs from the trip. The water scenes are from Sodus Bay Heights Golf Course in Sodus, NY – the background water is Lake Ontario and foreground water Sodus Bay. Gorgeous, right? The other photograph is from my sister and brother-in-law’s property, an operating fruit farm – quiet and peaceful, just as life should be.
Please feel free to use these photographs as inspiration for a painting. Hope you are all well, it’s great to be back.
Looks dreamy. Glad you’re back:)
Thanks Elena, was a beautiful trip. Something very peaceful about these scenes.

Thank you so much Lulu – I have ideas already, just waiting for the opportunity. We are hoping to fly into Boston this summer and go up the coast of Maine – we miss it and are in need of some decent clam chowder and a stiff sea breeze!
