Kiss of Light, oil pastel

Sometimes I come across a scene that’s tranquil and takes me back to Maine – through memories that time cannot erase.

Kiss of Light, an oil pastel (7×5) was done on a spur of the moment today – it’s a scene that I had pure joy painting.  The surface is Mi-Teintes gray-tinted pastel paper with my hands and clay shapers the tools used for moving the oil pastels around the paper.

Hope you enjoy this quiet moment, as the last summer rays grace the water and boat ~

I can sense the tranquility in this. I loved being in Maine as a kid, fishing at the break of dawn in a cove, glorious quiet times☺️

Enjoyed your visit, thank you so much. There is something very special about living in Maine – more special are the memories when, like I, no longer there. The coves are the best – thanks again for your comment.
