I am in awe of your amazing talent! Thank you for sharing it!
Thank you for your generous comment – I really appreciate it!
These are beautiful. Love the lighting. I do play around with my Craypas specialist oil pastels for landscapes and seascapes and cannot but conclude that this medium must be one of the most under-rated. What you have here is a benchmark and should inspire many to take it up. It inspires me to do more with the little sticks.
Thank you for your very gracious comment, you’ve made my day and is most appreciative. Oil pastels offer such a wide variety of options for whatever your painting style may be, subject matter, as well as how you may manipulate / lay down the paint. It’s a wonderful medium and hope you continue to explore and be inspired by the sticks!! Thanks again ~
Oh Mary, they are lovely. What a beautiful collection of work. 🙂
Thank you so much for your generous and kind comment – I really appreciate that you took the time to review my gallery of works.
Hi Mary, I love the galleries! I think maybe I have missed them all this time or are they new? It’s such a nice experience to see your work as a body. So many amazing pieces. I got mesmerized by them and have to come back.
Thank you so much Catherine, can’t believe that you looked through the galleries. They have been up there since the beginning of the blog, I’m not sure that visitors of the blog even know to look at the tabs to see the different galleries – wonder if I should make them more pronounced. Anyways thank you for your response to the paintings, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. Thank you again ~ hope you have a wonderful day.

Dear Mary,
Greetings from Australia. Your paintings are absolutely gorgeous. The colours are exquisite, complimentary and beautifully compliment the landscapes that you are depicting. Keep up the great work. You have been blessed with a rare and beautiful gift.
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I’m speechless by your beautiful comments, they have overwhelmed me. Thank you so much for taking the time to review my work and then comment. For that I am most appreciative and grateful.
As an artist, sometimes I struggle with breathing life onto a canvas as is the case with my latest two paintings that have not been posted. Your comments have encouraged me to go back and begin again. Thank you for providing a very powerful and positive reinforcement.
I wish you all the best during this holiday season and beyond, I will not forget your most generous gift in words. Mary
Beautiful paintings!
Hi Violet! Thank you for stopping by my blog, appreciate your lovely comment!
I love the ones of Ashmore park !
And the others are really good too, ofcourse ! 😉
Hi Petronette: Thank you so much. The series came from an area around where I live that we came across when out for a Sunday drive. How lucky was that! Mary
You are very talented! Handling this medium is not easy. I have tried it, but failed terribly. Congratulations for such beautiful pieces of art. All the best! 😀
Thank you so much Patricia, appreciate your kind words.
You are a really good artist, if you get artist grade/quality OPs you’ll be surprised how wonderful they are to paint with. Student grade are waxy and very difficult to move around. Hope you give them a try!
Oh! I never thought about that! I will try it for sure.
Let me know what you think – take care
